SUMMARY:Line Clearance Tree Trimming School
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended for employees with basic tree trimming experience. Attendees of this workshop will receive instruction in the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the criteria required by OSHA to be designated a Qualified Line Clearance Tree Trimmer. This knowledge will include recognizing nominal voltage present\, minimum approach distances\, and energy control measures among other issues. The workshop will include a full day of field exercises that will review basic line clearance tree trimming safety practices as well as how to incorporate the OSHA requirements into the daily work habits of the attendees.
