DESCRIPTION:This program is designed for employees responsible for installation\, maintenance and troubleshooting underground distribution systems. Instructors provide training on termination of URD cable\, load-break and non-load break elbows\, outdoor terminator preparation and installation. We review installation of URD cable\, direct buried and trenching/excavating equipment to meet OSHA training standard. Cable and fault locating techniques and equipment. Attendees receive instruction in tagging methods that can be used to identify circuits. Emphasis placed on hands-on training and field projects.
