DESCRIPTION:we have scheduled a Medic First Aid Instructor Development course for June 8.  This class will be from 9a-12p in room 136 at the technical college in Murfreesboro.  There will be an online portion of the class that will need to be completed prior to arrival on June 8th. \nThis course is intended for those who wish to become MEDIC First Aid certified instructors but is not necessary for recertification.  It will cover Basic First Aid\, CPR\, and AED training. \nYou will need access to an instructor package to conduct your own training sessions after completing this IDC.  If you need your own package\, it is not included in this course but can be ordered and drop shipped to you. SUMMARY:RESAP On-site Observer Training
DESCRIPTION:2024 will be a big year for the RESAP Program in Tennessee.  We have a total of twelve cooperatives that are up for renewal of their RESAP participation.  This training will be valuable for the management teams of those Cooperatives who participate or would like to begin participation in the RESAP program.  We will review the process\, information\, and documents needed to participate in the program annually\, and we will review in depth the revised onsite observation form. \nThe training sessions will be held on March 5 at the Murfreesboro Campus in Room 136.  The Workshop will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. central time.  There will also be a Teams link available for remote participation. Please RSVP your intention to attend and a headcount from your Coop. There is no charge for attending this training.  Just email Holly Bellucci your RSVP’s.

Attendees of this workshop will receive instruction in the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the criteria required by OSHA to be designated a Qualified Line Clearance Tree Trimmer. This knowledge will include recognizing nominal voltage present\, minimum approach distances\, and energy control measures among other issues. The workshop will include a full day of field exercises that will review basic line clearance tree trimming safety practices as well as how to incorporate the OSHA requirements into the daily work habits of the attendees. \n  \n  \n
