June 4, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - June 8, 2018 @ 12:00 pm
The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Construction workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on specific hazards of the job. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach DOL course completion card within 6-8 weeks.
The cost is $150.00 per employee for JT&S participants, $225.00 for non-participants. The course will begin at noon on the 4th and will finish by noon on the 8th to allow for drive time in and out of Murfreesboro. Classes on the 5th through 7th will be all day from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m. The course will be presented by Brian Lewis, JT&S Instructor with the Public Works division. Brian is an authorized OSHA Outreach trainer and has twenty-five years of experience as a safety professional.
