Basic Transformer School

The schedule will be as follows:
Session 1: Mon 1 pm- 4:30 pm, Tue 8 am- 4:30 pm, Wed 8 am – 12 pm
Session 2: Wed 1 pm- 4:30 pm, Thu 8 am- 4:30 pm, Fri 8 am – 12 pm
This program is designed to introduce employees to the basics of transformers; single-phase, three-phase and pad-mount. Instructors cover the design and manufacturing process, basic electrical theory, basic theory of vectors, three-phase theory, transformer installation and basic trouble-shooting. The lab portion of the course provides hands-on instruction in building three-phase transformer banks.
This class is two sessions that are the same material in each session. An attendee only needs to attend one session to receive a certificate of completion.
